How much of the Kansas City, MO metro area's population is in Missouri?

i.e, is it 70% of the population in Missouri and 30% in Kansas City? Including the land split would be nice too.

  1. probably about 50-50 between Missouri and Kansas, if thats what youre trying to ask

  2. i would say its about 45-55 with missouri holding a lil bit more. this is tricky to answer because it depends who you ask on the topic of what cities are officially part of the kc metro area. i will say that more people live south of the river than north for sure (at least 60%)

  3. All of Kansas City, Missouri's population is in Missouri.

    Otherwise they would be Kansans.

    Kansas City, Kansas is totally in Kansas as well.

  4. Independence is the largest suburb of KC, and it is on the MO side, so I would say the percentage would be more like 60/40, but the KS side is growing more quickly I think.
