  1. Nothing that involves the daily mail

  2. Depends...is it tabloids, or a daily paper?

    Is it CNN or E?

Credentials mean everything when believability is an issue.

  3. Next to nothing, all news and media will be biased by opinion (in the least) or corrupted by the wish to sell a newspaper or even point of view.

Try jean Baudrillards "The Gulf War did not take place" and other writings of his for an interesting philosophy on the media, advertising etc

  4. I trust in only what I can get from multiple sources that agree in general.

  5. Believe nothing on Fox news

  6. 0.1% (ie almost none).

Why?  Because the media is interested in only one thing... selling its product (be it newspapers or the evening news).

When I hear of tragic events (such as the recent airline crash in Spain)... the original "news flash" announced 161 dead.

Half an hour later... 5-passengers had recovered, and there were only 156 dead.

The "mass media" would do well to get their facts straight BEFORE they start promoting their doom and gloom.

i dont even bother paying any attention to it.

    for instance...

im sitting in south louisiana waiting for a catagory 5 hurricane to hit my town. everyone is panicking and saying that we've been issued a mandatory evacuation. but i aint leaving. im in a two story condo apt. i think i'll be ok.

  8. I believe a good amount of the news...CNN and Fox. Except the opinion shows. That is all they are....opinions. As far as entertainment goes, I couldn't care less. Who they date, how many kids they pop out, if they even wear underwear has no effect on my life at all.

  9. Just the obvious and general news. Superficial effects, not deep causes. For that purpose, documentaries are better, and even those are to be choosed carefully.

Because of the old saying that i've seen become true many times before with further investigation: "good news are not news".

    Best wishes

  10. It depends what it is. If it's something stupid, then I don't believe it. But if it's official and there is evidence like photographs and video footage, then I tend to believe it.

  12. Not very much of it because most of the media is built up on lies.

  13. i usually believe 10% of what i hear and 40%of what i see
