How much of the ocean can I see on Highway 101 from So Oregon to No Oregon?

What areas can I see the ocean as I am driving without going off the highway?

In southern Oregon and Northern Cal 101 displays some beautiful beaches.  Iin northern Oregon it is mostly brackish waters, bays, rivers, and sloughs.  Astoria and the Strait of Dissapointment are interesting.  I recomend Northern Cal though.  It is my favorite part of the highway!

Yep, I agree that No. Cal and So. Oregon are not only the most beautiful, but the most accessible.  The further north you drive in Oregon the more rain and fog to contend with.
