How much of the population afraid of black people?

Well i heard about it in china, that shop owners and locals would not be kind to black people, and would not serve them in stores and restaurants.

I never thought that racism like that still existed.

not only does racism like that still exist, it has never gone away.  we are all prejudiced in some manner.  it is a shame that we tend to fear what we don't know or understand.  even people who might be considered highly educated or world travelers have prejudices.  the question is not are you prejudiced, but how do you handle your prejudices?

my grandparents are there in China along with my aunts & cousins.

we don't have the darkest of skin but they are having a good time there.

if the Chinese don't like them, they don't NOT serve them.

& they speak Chinese so if they WERE insulting my family, my family wouldn't understand.

sadly, racism is stupid & since some people will forever be ignorant, it'll never go away :(
