I was wondering what percentage of the worlds forests can be destroyed before it has a serious impact on global air quality(a significant decrease in oxygen levels and a significant increase in carbon dioxide levels)? Obviously algae produces most of the worlds oxygen and absorbs the most carbon dioxide but would this be enough to keep global air quality at present levels without any remaining forests?

P.S if you have a source include that too.

  1. YOU DON'T THINK IT'S ALREADY BEEN IMPACTED?

  2. 99% of the world's forests are already gone.  Of course there's been an imapct.  And we are cutting down the rest at an alarming rate.  What a sad, short-sighted species we are.

  3. Unfortunately it is all ready a reality with so much of the forests all ready being gone and with all the pollutions that is being caused by humanity, however I do still have hope for the future.
