How much of what the press say is to be trusted?

  1. They try to make news out of nothing depending on how much is going on in the world that day.  Remember all the stories about "shark attacks" a few years back and then when the numbers were really looked at, there was no spike in attacks from recent years.  They play it up way too much.

  4. My father in law used to say "believe nothing that you hear and only half that you see".  In the case of the press I think even that is pretty generous.

  5. If you believe what you hear then you should never read what you saw but if you believe what you saw you will see a film about it at 11:pm..Nobody can be trusted.
