  1. Our bill for the last time the dogs were at the kennel was.. $300 I think? 10 days, baths, medication administered. I think it's a bit pricey, but they always take great care of our animals, and have done everything in their power to help them get better.

ADD: Our mutt stays in a run, and our puppy stays in the next size down, and we will be moving him up to a run soon.

  2. I'm in Europe, Poland to be exact. I pay 30zl per day, that's about $14 according to today's exchange rate. For that, my dog gets a huge pen, is exercised 5 times a day, all his food, and a heated crate if it's winter time.

  3. I work at a dog daycare.

Boarding is $25/night, which includes a free nail-clipping (if your dog needs it) and daycare; we do not keep the dogs in kennels all day they are in a huge supervised daycare area with eachother and the dogs that come in for daycare  from 7am-7pm. Given breaks if you request them to have them, and feeding/medicine throughout the day if they require it.

If you stay for a week, it's $25 the first six nights, but the seventh night is free. If you stay two weeks, you get two days free, etc.

So, one week of boarding at Inn The Doghouse would cost you...$150.

The $25/night is the flat rate for all dogs-no matter what size they are or what size kennel they are in. If you have a second dog, that dog is $19/night and can stay in the same kennel as your other dog, or a separate one if you want it to.

  4. Here I pay $25 a day for my two dogs...One is 70 pounds the other 55...This is not a vets office but a lady that trains dogs for a living...I'd rather have them there than at the vets office where they're kept in a tiny cage the whole time..

  5. Why don't you ask a friend or family member to sit for you while you're away. It's less of a hassle & besides, at least, you will know that your dog is with someone you can trust.

Before taking your dog to the kennel, you need to present your papers on updated shots especially bordetella. Some would require that you bring your own food etc. While others have a more "resort" like feel, so we think.

Good luck on whatever you decide to do.

  6. my parents pay so i don't know

  7. Our local kennel charges $15 for small dog & $18 for medium -large dogs. I have Dobes, so it would cost me about $126

We don't board our dogs. We have friends & family that come and tend the dogs, and we take care of their pets when they go on vacation.

  8. It probably depends on area, but average price around here is between $10-$20 a day. They usually charge a little less for a second dog.

  9. depends where you live. and the size of your dog. like i have a huge dog adn it was $50 but my friends had a tiny dog and it was $10

  10. It probably depends on the kennel, I never leave my dogs in a kennel when I go out on vacation and such, but I do leave them with my grandma or a close friend, never a kennel but I bet it's around 50 dollars? I don't know actually I just payed her 30 dollars for a week.
