I am Russian. I reside in Toronto, Canada. Have Canadian citizenship. Been asked to many times about this subject. My life is two much overwhelling right now. Mentally wise I am basically pushed to the limit. I am do not know what is going on or who started what or about any political or economical or world impact reasons. So I am purely not interested right now. I can to the point of break when a lifeguard in the swimming pool asked who started invasion first. Blow came to blow. I said to him to stop asking or he will be swimming in the pool himself. Then it followed: You should be grateful and lucky that you are in Canada. I started to apologize that I said something when he was in his booth. He told me to stay away from him. Like I said to him that I lost so much weight and he is 250-270 pound guy and physically nothing I even want to do. Then he complain to his supervisor. Supervisor should come to me and told me to get a swimming suite and then to come. She said nothing and left. He abruptly said something with devious voice that I did not get to hear to the end of what he wanted me to do. Then I said something and he said that have to go or he will call police. So petty, like a braindead person. Follow the chain of command. This whole incident should have been put to rest when I left staid away still in the pool 15 meters away and talking to someone else. No, go to the supervisor, be rude to me, remind me that I am still Russian. What then the Canadian citizenship is good for? To be a second class citizen, shut the h**l up, be reminded that you are lucky to be here? So it is a worseless piece of paper then for someone who was not born here in case of some God forsaken argument? Sorry for ranting and raving. I do not want any Canadian to answer. Period. Well, guy, maybe I over-reacted and should just say" Sorry, not interested to answer". Then tell me so nicely. Please do not be sarcastic at this point. I never asked why Canadian or American troops are in Iraq or Afganistan. Never question what Government here or in US does. If someone will offer opinion about this matter, I could even judge now .

  1. Gee, slow down, your going to have a stroke. Sorry, you have had a terrible experience. I will remember you in my prayers tonight and pray that tomorrow will be a much better day for you.

I remember John Lennon's song, "Imagine"

Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for No religion too Imagine all the people living in peace, Imagine no possesions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one I hope some day you'll join us And the world will live as one. John Lennon October 9, 1940- December 08,1980.

Slow down and Enjoy your evening.

  2. I am sorry you have had trouble. To bad you didn't come to the USA, we are much friendlier than those pesky Canadians. I have a Russian immigrant friend who is an American citizen. We enjoy talking about our countries history and politics, and his former countries history and politics. He was a Russian military officer. Good luck and don't let the silly Canadians poke their noses into your business.

  3. You had a bad experience with some pretty rude people, they are everywhere, there is still hope...

  4. I am an  American.  I am sorry you had a bad experience in your adopted country.  Next time just say "I don't know" and change the subject.  I hope you are feeling better.

  5. Did you know USA is a police country? There are everything except liberty, there are a lot of rules and laws but none liberty. Remember how all arabian people were treated after 11 sep.

    Canada is the same USA.

But luckily, both Canada and USA as every country in the world have 50% dopes and 50% of normal people. So, just don't care.
