  1. Depends what metro you're talking about.  Many cities have a rail or bus called "metro".

    In my city, there has been an average increase of 10-30% ridership over the past year.  I'd imagine that's common throughout the country these days, and it will probably go up further.


  2. There isn't a large increase of ridership.  Denial isn't just a river in Egypt, you know.  Public transportation claims each year brings an expanded ridership base but as they are on the public teat for operating revenue it'd be bad capitalism

    to be honest about it.  75 Cent bus rides in my area do not

    even begin to address the 13 million dollar yearly pull it now sucks from public purse.  To break even (off the teat), the ridership would have to drop about $15 for each bus ride,

    so go put more lipstick on any revenue earning flying pigs.

  3. Try understanding this unless the bus lines are boycotted like H.T. started her civil rights movement.The fare will constantly climb.Unless you invest in a pogo-stick and hop-it-out.
