As much as you want.

I think the tricky thing to evaluate is the balance of PB to J. Too much PB can limit the J amount (or preserves). Not enough PB can also ruin a good sandwich.

A serving of peanut butter us usually around a tablespoon, but in a sandwich many people like to over fill so I'd be tempted to put in around 1 1/2 tablespoons just to give it extra texture and flavour, and probably use around 3/4 tablespoon of Jelly.

depends on how you like it i prefer mines to go on real thin but my bf likes ALOT on his.

Who cares about serving sizes?

Put as much as you need!  I cover one slice completely with PB, and one slice completely with Jelly.
