  1. £150 per day

  2. Some people will charge you for the work to be carried out, and some will charge you by the hour.

Although i first thought you were asking this question in terms of you wanting a job as a painter/decorator.  If this was the case, expect your training days to be 9-10 hours long for £20 a day.

  3. i think painters/decorators get paid by days rather than hours!! do u realise how slow they would paint if they got paid by the hour!! lol

  4. It depends if you are talking about a professional painter and decorator or just a bloke with a paint brush.  If it just a bloke with a paint brush then I reckon about 50 quid a day.  If it is a professional then you probably need to quadruple that.

  5. Don't pay by the hour. They will drag there feet. Get a fixed price with no extras.

  6. Goes on the size of area to be painted, and the amount of preparation req'd.

  7. Im with the first answer agree on a price from the start and stick to it.

  8. £9 PER HOUR IS ENOUGH TO PAY A PAINTER.     HAL
