How much per hour should I get for babysitting a toddler or baby?

I'm almost 13 and am about to go to babysitting school so could I charge more after?

  1. Well I went to a Red Cross Babysitter's Training class, And i've been babysitting since i was about 12 and Im almost 16 now and I charge 5 dollars an hour. I charge $5/hour for one kid and $6/hour for 2 kids and so on.

  4. Honestly it depends on the hour of the day.  If my sitter was 13 and just watching my kids while they slept in the evening then no more than $4.50 an hr.  If he/she has to play w/ them then about $5.50.
