  1. Actually  it depends on the place and the bar-backs and bus boys. Some places require a tip share which is calculated off the server bartenders sales usually 5% and they are required to turn it in and it is distributed evenly between the bussers and bar backs. At busier places where the bartenders are making more money it tends to depend on the bar back. If he is working hard the bartender will more then likely tip him a absorbent amount of money because he is helping to make them more money...vice a versa if he is lazy he will be less likely to get a good tip from the bartender...it's just like customer service except the customer is the bartender/waitress


  2. It all depends on the restaurant. I work at a restaurant in Issaquah Washington as  busboy, and I make 5% of each of the server's tips. You want to work in a nice restaurant that makes lots of money, and that pride themselves on wine and a full bar ($$$$$$$$). I make about $80 in tips on a slow night just by bussing tables.

  3. um nothing if you work at Craacker Barrel.........you make your own tips there =)
