  1. What are you pretending to be british are you well cherio and a cup of tea!  Here in the good old U S of A we say Gas, or if your really feeling fancy maby Gasolien.  If you want slang try go juice

  2. around the same

  3. 90 miles in an hour and a half because you need to go faster to cover the distance.

  4. Slightly more as you go faster.

Wind drag doesn't really become a factor until you begin to exceed 55-60 mph,  or 90-100 kph.     After that point,  figure on an exponential increase in usage as you go faster.     Below those speeds,   a driver's habits will affect fuel economy more than any other factor.

Long,  slow smooth acceleration,   and trying to avoid braking and rebuilding speed will help greatly.   Look far ahead,   plan ahead,   and avoid following closely to give you more control over your speed to do this.

  5. It all depends on what type of roads you  are driving on.

Petrol comsumption also depends on what type of driver you are. On the open road , get to the best optimal gear as quick as possible without over revving the engine. If you are driving properly , a manual engine should be smooth without 'gear-jerk'. Sit at 60mph and you should do 90 miles in an hour and a half and your fuel guage should hardly move. Get up to 80mph , you'll get there quicker but your comsumption will be much heavier.... it's your choice!!
