  1. Coupla gallons. 5 litres=1.1 gallons. so assuming 40ish mpg so 10 litres so about £12.

  2. Not an easy question to answer - it depends how you drive - economically/defensively or aggressively/wastefully...

  3. £10/£12 that should do it.

  4. £10 should cover it. My 1990 Micra goes 400 miles on a single tank and that's costing me about £40.

  5. not a lot

  6. Your Micra should average 48mpg, according to book figures.

Your journey would therefore need 1.73 gallons, or 7.86 litres.

    At your prices, that's £8.86

  7. Probably between £10 and £12 depending how you drive and depending on the kind of roads you will be driving on whether motorway or A or B class roads and how many hills you will encounter etc. etc. With good sensible driving yes around the £12 mark to be on the safe side. But always have plenty of petrol in your tank, as you never know if you will have to make a detour because of accidents.

Take care and have a safe journey.  Alex

  8. About a tenner.    Petrol here is 109  now
