How much plastic cutlery do Americans throw out every year?

I don't throw any away, I use them to butcher dophins.

Too many.  There are some utensils which are now made from biodegradable ingredients like corn.  Additionally, one can also purchase (instead of plastics) biodegradable (plastic-look-alikes) plates, glasses, and carry-out containers.

Most people do not know about these products, but they do exist.
