I have an outdoor torch which uses oil lamp to burn. The torch produce a black smoke. I wonder if it's pollution and how much pollution could it be.

On the lamp oil bottle, it is written: "outdoor citronella lamp oil". It looks likes sunflower oil or olive oil but the color is more dark. There's no indications about the nature of the oil or which ingredient it could contain. I suppose that it is made from petrole.

Thank you
