I have a bunch of those "first-class forever" stamps laying around. How many of those will I need to mail a letter to Spain? The letter can't weigh much. They say .90 on USPS.com, do you think 3 will do it?

  1. The cost of a 3 gram airmail letter to Spain is 48p.

No, you cannot use First Class stamps because they do not show the value.

EU law states that the cost should be the same as an internal letter , but in Labour's rip-off Britain, you pay through the nose.

    Use e-mail!

  2. yes then you are overpaying duh do the math

  3. Three will do it, but it's a touch of overkill.

about three sheets of paper is an ounce (plus the envelope and stamp)

  4. Don't know what you mean by "first class forever".

However, stamps used for international mail must have a value/amount printed on them.  The "image only" stamps the US post office issues when there is a postage increase (ex.39 Cents to 41 Cents) are not valid for international mail.

You need to attach any combination of stamps to the envelope that show a combined value of 90 Cents or more.
