  1. It depends on the efficiency of the unit, but I can give you an estimate (to 1 significant figure) based on my experience with AC units in that range.

    2 Tonnes = 2 kW

    (but the relationship is *not* 1T = 1kW -- the 2 functions just happen to cross at 2T = 2kW)
