How much protein do i need a day? (10 points)?

ok so im 5 feet 5 inches, i weigh about 125, and im 14 years old

i workout intensly 3 times a week (tuesday, thursday, saturday)

can someone tell me about how many grams of protein i need a day?

  1. 1 gr for each kg you have.


  2. You should be getting a 1/3 of your body weight in grams of protein a day and maybe a little more because of your intense workout.  So probably 45 for your work-out days and 41 for your non-workout days!

  4. 175 grams. Really it depends on what you eat, if you eat a 6 oz steak you get alot of high quality protein. When you eat sumthin like pasta it might have the same amount of protein, but your body can only absorb about 50% of the pasta and 70% of the steak.

  5. About 80  grams on the days you work out. A lot of ppl drink a protein laden supplement within 45 minutes of the workout.

  6. if you are weight training you need 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight you weigh. if not the rda is 45 grams

  7. you need every day about 45 grams of protein but on your workout days you  should get about 55
