how much should i charge for doing a patent drawing?

i have no clue!

i just started doing my drawings for money, and i dont know if i might be getting ripped off... and i dont want to ask for too much.

  1. It sounds like you are asking what your price points should be. With the limited info you gave, I would guess shopping your competition online and through the Yellow Pages would be your best bet.

    Also, you can contact a Trade organization in your industry that you like and then make contact with other "artists".

    You can also join your local chambers of commerce or another networking group and make contacts with Patent Attorneys. You could also simply call a local Patent Attorney and just ask your price point questions. Let him know that you would bring your future business to him and refer others to him for some quick info.


  2. Start with a high price and if nobody buys then go down bit by bit. When you reach a price that people buy for a fairly high price then thats your right price
