  1. Are you an American citizen?  If so, your passport only needs to be valid through the length of your stay.  Italy does not require visas of U.S. citizens and countries that do not require a visa also do not require longer validity on the passport.  Also, on the U.S. State dep't site about  other countries...it always says if there is such a requirement by a specific country...and there is no such statement for Italy.  See site below and read under "Entry requirements."

  2. more than 6 months

    I'm sure

    don't take risk

    BONE VOYAGE

  3. ► For countries with a visa requirement:

    •  Passport must be valid more than three month after the intended stay.

► For countries without visa requirement for an intended stay of up to 90 days (totally for all Schengen countries) for tourist purposes: (Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Macao, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, South Korea, Singapore, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela)

    • Passport must be valid during the stay in Italy.

► For countries of the European Union or the European Economic Area: (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia)

    • Passport or authorized travel document (i.e. ID-Card) must be valid during the intended stay.

► For members of the European Agreement on Regulations governing the Movement of Persons between Member States of the Council of Europe of 13 December 1957. (Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Germany, France, Greek, Italia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovania, Spain, Switzerland)

    • Passport or authorized travel document (i.e. ID-Card), either valid or expired not longer than one year

  4. rather than using the answers here, i would contact the consulate.

i assume you are an american citizen.  if so, i am pretty sure you have to have 90 days left on your passport the day you return.  i ran into a similiar situation recently and just expedited my passport to get a new one so i didn't have to worry about it.

  5. Hii my friend i am sure you can come to Italy anytime you want if you have the permission or a passport but in your situations its a Permission so before the last 2 days i am sure i checked it up.

    Take care

Hope you will come to Italy and have fun.

    Hope i helped !
