  1. i had a large luggage that rolled. there is plenty of room. there is a desk that you can store it under most of the time and a small closet too.

  2. It may vary a little by cruise line but in general there is about 8 to 9 inches between the floor and mattress.  And then you also have to contend with the bed frame legs.  But most of the time you can get 4 suit cases under a bed made as a queen; two under each of the twins.  Sometimes the cabin steward will store a divot (a bed cover) under there but you can still squeeze in two suitcases.  But its best to use soft sided luggage because it does store under there much better.

If you do not have soft sided luggage you can store at least one piece in the cabin's closet; but then that cuts your clothes hanging space.

Soft sided luggage is the way to go!!!

  3. none if you have the top bunk. !!

There is not usually a lot of storage on a cruise ship....(unless you have a suite)...so travel light.

  4. With 4 cruises under our belts. I've never measured the clearance under the bed, but I do know that we have never been able to store anything under there. We usually put the luggage on the floor where we hang our clothes. Once, we turned a small vanity stool upside down in order to put one suitcase on top of it, saving room. With the new stupid baggage policy with the airlines, there is now more incentive to share a larger bag between 2 people. We have yet to wear everything we take along, so packing less clothes is a good idea, besides, you will need to make provisions to pack things you buy during your cruise.

  5. HARDLY ANY.

Good luck with fitting any normal sized case under there.

  6. Generally on any sort of ship you sleep in bunks not beds. This mostl usually means there is no space underneath you to store anything, but you do have wardrobes and cupboards in your cabin for storing stuff like your suitcases. Advantage of that is if the ship is rolling a lot in heavy swell your suitcase does not shoot across from one side of your cabin to the other and cause damage.

  7. A normal sized suitcase will fit comfortably under the stateroom bed.

  8. like 20 inches. but they have enought closet room to fit your luggage in.
