i don't know about india. but here in the philippines for a fresh graduate taking her 1st year internship, i got a monthly salary of about $400.

See doctor degree is very precious and very helpful for mankind and you cannot rate this degree with money because money is very small thing when we compared it with doctor degree but it is also a fact that one can't live without money because it is a source of life.so a doctor with MD degree in medicine get a salary as per his ability and supply and demand because these are the main thing for any field to run well.And salary also depend upon the organization you work with i.e whether it is private or government.And if it is private then what it's market value.so all these are factors depend on the salary of MD doctor in medicine.

I don't know about India, but in America pharmacists are getting paid about $110,000 upon graduation.  But that is going to go up each year.
