  2. Salaries do not 'max out'.  If you became the owner of a company, you could give yourself whatever salary you thought the company could afford.

    A typical starting salary for an engineer with a bachelor's degree is about $55,000.

  3. EEs that stay purely technical and work for a company as an engineer would max out today somewhere between 100K and 150K depending on specialty and amount of schooling.

    Most engineers that make more money move into supervision followed by management - so they have the EE degree but typically add an MBA or project management certificate. They are then managing people / projects and not drectly working as EEs.
