if i wanted to conduct an experiment in class, and we needed salt water, how much salt would i need to put in the water to make it similar to sea water?

  1. the ocean seems pretty salty to me, so I'd estimate about 3 tablespoons of salt added to a full glass of water..


  2. SALT CONTENTS IN OCEAN WATER IS AROUND 3%, EXCEPT DEAD OCEAN , 33%. NOW, THAT'S REALLY SALTY.

  3. Ocean water is 3.5% salt.  This would be equivalent to putting 3.5 grams of salt in 100 ml of water.
