How much shock treatment should you use. My pool is 12 feet in diameter and 36 inches deep. One packet??

naw, you need more than that to get the levels up. I use liquid, so I'd say start with at least a quart and check the levels in an hour after the pump has circulated.

One package will do the job. I uaually put in one at night and see a big differance in the morning. Adding to much shock will mean you need to add higher levels of chlorine latter.I don't swim in the pool untill the shock has had a chance to work...like I said,over night.
