  1. Do your friends babysit or do you know any other babysitters in your area? Ask what they charge. I'd also consider how much experience you have. If you've been doing it awhile you can charge a couple bucks extra.

Then I'd list out what makes you a good babysitter. Can you cook for the kids? Do you like to play with the kids? Do you clean up after the kids? One of the best things you can do is have testimonials - endorsements from people you've sat for in the past - saying how great you are as a babysitter.

    Best of Luck!

  2. 1 kid = $2 hour

    2 kids = $3 hour

    3 kids = $4 hour

        ...and so on...

That's what they told me in SafeSitters class a year ago...

  3. Bobby D is correct.  Being a certified babysitter increases your worth.  Do not do a flyer with your phone number on it.  Just to many weirdos out there.  Referrals from friends and family is safer

  4. We pay our babysitter $10 per hour.  Sometimes she sits with our kids and the neighbors so we can all go out. In that case we pay her $15 per hour (it's five kids total then).

As for the flyer - it would REALLY help if you had taken a babysitter course or at least know CPR
