  1. $50.  Remember that they need some fresh fruits and vegetables too.

My Grey eats about $20/month in organic pellets (Harrison's) and also frozen mixed vegetables, with fresh ones mixed in.  Remember many common food items are toxic to them (avocado, chocolate).  Give them lots of new toys, too.

  2. It depends on what kind of pellets he eats, what kind of fruit and vegetables. Also you will have to give him seed and nuts. I would say $30-$50 a month.

I buy organic food for my parrots. Of course they waste about 75% of what you put in their cages. My parrots really like Zupreem pellets. They put 5 pellets in the water bowl to soak until they are mush, four on the floor so they can watch the chickens eat and then they eat one pellet. They are not cheap either. I make up a bean mix that I got off of the interned. It is called Amazon Bean Mix. The African Greys like is also.  If you feed a good varied mix of food stuffs it can get expensive in a hurry. I buy in bulk and that saves me a bunch of money.

  3. At least $100 but with vet bills and new toys about $500
