How much should I bring?

I'm going to a free yoga on the beach tomorrow. It says on the little flyer "The class if free, but we ask you bring a donation of canned food with you. They will be brought to the food bank."

How much? I don't want to over/under do it.

  1. Go through your pantry and bring a couple cans.  I'd bring 3-5.  Just bring them in a bag.  However, if you have lots of cans of soup, bring them.  It never hurts to be a little too generous.

  2. Bring what you feel comfortable bringing, a real charity will gladly accept any donation be it big or small.

  3. No, a whole bag is good. The more the better. They're hungry, they don't care who brings how much, as long as they get to eat.

  4. No, it won't be bad to show up with a bag full of cans.

If you are just doing it to get into the class then bring 3-5. If you generally have good intentions and want to donate then bring a bag full. It's obviously a good cause.

  5. You can never over do it with charity like that. The more the merrier.

  6. Well they asked for canned food didn't they?

  7. No way, a bag full of cans would be very appreciated.  There's really no wrong amount you can bring since it's a donation, but definitely don't feel like you're overdoing it if you bring a bag.
