How much should I charge for babysitting two three year olds during a wedding?

I will have to drive 4 hours in my car there and back. My total hours factoring in the driving I will do along with the babysitting will be from 8:30 am until approx. 1 pm the following day. What is a fair price to charge? Or what should I expect to be paid?

  1. $10 an hour

  2. Hmm.  Usually, overnight should cost around $20.  Plus the additional hours.  So you will be working a grand total of 28.5 hours, and sleeping for around 8 of it.  So for 20 hours of babysitting in someone's home, I would charge $50.  That's $70 total.  PLUS GAS.

  3. at least $200.

  4. 6 dollars an hour

  5. Charge the cost of gas of driving,

and then 15-20 an hour per kid.

  6. What do you normally charge for babysitting?  If you are strictly a babysitter and will not be a guest at the wedding, I would charge  about ten dollars an hour or more for the time you are with the children (depending on how experienced you are and what you're required to do), and charge for mileage (about 35 cents a mile).

  7. about 80 bucks?

  8. I know firist hand what is to baby sit two three years old is plenty of work and responsibilities I think that 150 per family plus the cost of gas= that is plenty of driving

  9. a 4 hour drive???  Two 3 year olds?  $200 total plus a gas stipend.  I pay $5 an hour for two kids....one older and self sufficient and the other a baby.  $200 plus gas is not unreasonable given you're watching two toddlers and the inconvienience of driving out there.

  10. It depends - if you are family, charge like $50 plus gas per kid because it IS overnight and a long drive for you; If it is not family I would charge $75 plus gas per child

  11. If its some U know and see a lot u shouldnt charge 2 much cause they may not like that and it matters for how long and how old u are and since theres three i'd say 10$ an hour. Any more money and your pushing it!

  12. at least $80 or more. it's a lot of gas and time.

  13. I would say to have them pay for the gas to get there and back and then charge them $40 for the actually babysitting.

  14. you will probably end up baby sitting longer knowing weddings, what i would recommend is you charge by the hour so you get your money worth! i would say ed least $20 an hour.

  15. So, thirty hours including an overnight for two three year olds? I would charge at least $10/hour for that. If you were my babysitter, I would feel obligated to pay $300. Or $150 per family if its two different families.

  16. How old are you? If your older and have experience with kids I'd say charging 20 dollars an hour plus money for gas would be good.

  17. umm if your there last resource then umm 60 if your not 30
