I am a 20 year old that is going to start babysitting a 2 year old and a 4 year old. This will be my only job apart from school. The hours I am watching them are from 2 to 9 or later. I will be cooking, cleaning, and driving them to places. How much do you think I should charge? I also have babysitting experience so this is not my first family.

  1. ya i think 8-10 per hour will be fineee

    have fun !!

  2. 7 - 10 bucks an hour since your going to be doing all that for them...

  3. I would go a flat rate of 100 per day.

  4. I would probably charge $75 for the 2-9 and $10 for every extra hour ($5 for every extra half hour)

  5. $10 an hour since you are going to be cooking, cleaning, and driving them to places.

Also, I would ask for $10 in gas money.

  6. If you are a driver it is fair to be charging $10 an hour (here in NJ anyway).  Since it is 2-9 and includes dinner and bed time, plus driving, even the flat $100 a day is fair.
