  1. i worked at trumps marina.. equiptment mechanic.. i got into a arguement with one of the beverage servers.. and she said she got one thousand six hundred average each night. i have spoken to another a bar tender that went to tech school and she did not know what to do she go three hundred a night in tips.. and what you get depends on the restaurant some places want you to put your tips in a jar and the procedes are divided up  even with the cook... i dont like that.. but also i dont like giving tips.. but if a person is super sweet and looks nice i will give five dollars.. but now i eat a home and cook here for anyperson i can give them a better meal than i can buy . and i dont have to leave home. also some places have a credit card reciept that the creditor fills in the tip and at the end of the evening the owner gives this in cash to the person ok gilermo.

  2. I work at carrabbas and i make between $75 to $130 a night, but i only work nights. Hope that helps, ive been serving 6 months

  3. Your first week will only be training so you wont get any tips. But once you start actually waiting on tables the tips will probably increase your salary from the minimum for servers which is I think about $4.60 to $10- $15 an hour

  4. Well, the first week or so you'll be in training and shadowing another server. Even though you'll be doing a lot of the work, the other server will get to keep all the tips. Then, they'll probably limit you to two tables at a time for a week or two. So, yeah, I'd keep my other job for a few weeks longer. Good Luck!

My tip-When you have a table with small children, do everything you can do to make things run smooth and fast. th eparents will really appreciate it and usually tip better if they don't have to wait around with cranky kids.

  5. If your a good waitress you should make at lest a $100.00 a day. But you really have to be a good server. I work as a cook but I know our best waitress makes $100.00 ever day. 5 days a week.

  6. OK well I'm a server at chili's. if you have never done serving before it will be hard and the money might not be that great but if you can wait it out and have alot of patience you can really bank for a job without experience so you should keep your second job see if you like it then make a decision from there

  7. well since your new they will probably give you less tables till you get the hang of it
