I am going on my first cruise on the Carnival Imagination. I would probably have 2 glasses of wine with dinner and want to plan my budget. Thanks.

  1. You are better off to buy a bottle of wine(more expensive by the glass). Then, have the waiter save the unused portion of the bottle for the next night. You are usually assigned a table to eat for the cruise, and therefore have the same waiter each night. He will cork it and save it for you.

  2. I am going on my first cruise this May on Carnival but found this site which has a bar menu for Carnival as well as other information. http://unofficialcarnivalwiki.com/wiki/B... Check it out, it will help you plan and lists which wines cost what. I know it is not a complete list but a good start. Also you can look at the wine available to purchase by the bottle on the carnival site under the gifts section. Hope that helps

  3. Carnival allows you to purchase a bottle of wine in the dining room and they will keep it for you throughout the cruise. You can have one glass per night till it's gone or drink it in 1 or 2 nights if you want. That's probably cheaper than purchasing it by the glass. You can bring your own wine on board, but they charge a $15.00 corkage fee.

  4. As the others say, buy it by the bottle.  We've been on Carnival a couple of times and usually do this.  A bottle of wine will cost anywhere between $18 and upwards, depending on what you drink.  The waiter will put a label on your bottle if you don't finish it and it will be waiting for you the following night.

    Enjoy your cruise.
