  1. If you're worried about cost, find a shop that sells used tires.  They can sell you some that can get you by, but depending on the tread left on those tires, you may need some again next year.  The one tire shop around here that has tons of used tires usually has different grades, so you'll pay a bit more for ones with more tread depth.  They also have a 30 day warranty on the used tires that they sell.  I've paid around 30 dollars a tire for used.  I've also paid $60 a tire for new.  If you have time, check places like Tirerack.com, or discounttiredirect.com.  Sometimes even with shipping, it'll be cheaper than locally, and also remember that you'll need to pay for mounting.  Places like Wal-mart will mount and balance for 10-15 per tire, but if you buy locally, most will include mount/balance in their price, so just keep that in mind as well and make sure you ask when getting quotes.  Shop around and if you are worried about reviews and performance and whatnot, tirerack has reviews.

  2. 4 tires mounted and balanced for a mid grade tire about 325

  3. I see signs that advertise a set of 4 tires for $120 but they add on disposal fee for your old ones plus balance and mounting and taxes so it would be  about $250. I wouldn't buy those cheap tires though they are they kind that explode automatically. You can get quality tires for about $140 each for a total of $560 that will last a long time and give you good service. I depends on how long you plan on keeping your car.

It pays to shop around, just like for everything else.

  4. I own a 99 Regal and have put a set of tires on recently.  Although I didn't go low end, you can expect to pay $100 ea for the tire only.  Of course, there is a need to have the tire(s) balanced, and alignment of the front end.  The tires only should be in the neighborhood of $425 with taxes and without the balance and alignment.  I would highly recommend Yokohama brand.  Quality tire.

  5. Anywhere from $38-60 per tire. There is plenty of places that will sell you a used tire for about 25-32. You may also find someone if you look hard enough to resurface or retread your tires at about 10-20 dollars(they are out there but you have to look)  GOOD LUCK. I know you will find a good rate if you stick with looking and comparing prices>>>>>>>PS>>>Dont let anyone charge you more than 5-8 dollars to put the tire on

  6. one thing about tires is not to skimp. they are so important and can aid in not only the handling of the car but also the gas.  i would say that you should expect to pay about 95 min. per tire in addition to road hazzard if they have it.

  7. depends on the tires,u can go to wally world and prices start at about $200,,,,,walmart
