  1. If you've already pre-paid your hotel - then all you have to worry about are your meals and transportation. Depending in what you want to shop for - but I would use a credit card for that - don't carry too much cash though, you can always use your atm to withdraw money from any bank they are all over the place. If you want to use public transportion you can buy a weekly pass for about 18 euros. Have a nice trip.

  2. After hotel and r/t voyage about 80 to 100 Euro a day.

  3. Skip milan entirely or no more than a day. It's a working city, except for the center (which could be toured easily in a few hours) there's not much else to see.

I suggest you book in advance your hotels, avoid "holy festivals" (xmas, ester) because they are full of italians and their relatives and more tourists.

as for the daily expenses, rome and florence are very expensive. Avoid cabs, get public transportation: you can buy daily or multi-day tickets that allow to ride couch and metro. Florence is also very small, the best part is on feet only (or on small buses).

If you are gonna eat, go for pizza (which are affordables) or restaurants which offer "turistical menu" (fixed price for a fixed amount of food).
