  1. If you're feeding her a high-quality lab block, you can give her as much as she will eat each day. That's usually about 1-2 blocks a day, but if you offer her more, she won't overeat.

If you're giving her a seed mix, giving her too much of that could allow her to just pick out the best-tasting, fattiest parts, like sunflower seeds, and ignore the rest. That doesn't make for a balanced diet, and she could gain excess weight.

I'd recommend feeding her a base diet of lab blocks - Harlan Teklad, or even Mazuri if you're limited to what you can buy in a pet store - and using seeds only as a suppliment. Maybe a teaspoon of seeds a day  and unlimited access to the lab blocks.

You can also give her bits of fruits and veggies each day. Start with small amounts at a time if she isn't used to eating them.

As for the cage - well, mice are stinky. It's a fact of life. It has less to do with cleanliness than it does with marking territory. Male mice have a much, much stronger odor, but it's present to some extent in females, too. Is the cage well-ventilated? What kind of bedding do you use? Some are better at absorbing odor than other. Most of the paper-based beddings are good. You can scoop out her "potty area" daily and do a full bedding change once a week. If you use enough bedding, you shouldn't have to wash out the whole cage that frequently.

  2. clean out 3 times a week and plus that way they will get used to being picked up to so thats a bonus gd luck plus you can get cage cleaner from some where like wilkos

  3. use kaytee lavender bedding. and feed her 3/4 of a tavblespoon a day.

  4. Here, for the smell: I take some listerine and dilute it 50/50 with water. Then I take a CLEAN sponge a wash (Hammys) cage. I make sure I GET ALL OF THE MIXTURE OUT WITH WATER before I put him in. Be Carful this works but it has a costly price if you dont rinse it out carfully.  :(

YOU NEED TO GET THE ORIGINAL FLAVOR, NOT THAT ORANGE OR GREEN CRUD.

Listerine has a special enzyme that breaks down bacteria.

    GOOD LUCK :P

  5. try a different stronger smelled shaving, to stop the smell of f***s.

  6. actually you can feed your mouse by hand that gets her used to you earning her trust and then you can teach her to do tricks if you like. OR  you can give just a table spoon of food a day. Mice are suppose to weigh 25 grams. Because if you give them more than that you make them gain weight and then you have a fat little mousy that waddles around.

And be the way if her cage is smelling you have to clean every couple of days ,  you also train her to be clean. Buy her a poddy thing at the local pet store and place it in her cage at the bottom of her cage. Where she can axcess it easily and maybe once in a while when you are holding her and you see her start to go take the poddy thing out put her on it and and tell her to go that helps her understand to go. hope that helps

  7. Well it depends.

First of all do you feed her (him?) friut? If so feed her less. mice will horde their food and try leaving a strawberry out for five days and you'll know what I mean.

If you are feeding your mouse mouse mix or lab blocks there usualy instructions on the back.if youare and theres not here's what I'd suggest :  1-2 blocks  OR  1-1.5 teaspoons (|the measurement kind)  |IOf you do feed your mouse friuts stop. fruits make a good treat but  they tend to stink up the place (it could also be that he eats rotton fruit and gets (I am going to spell this wrong)  dihreiha wich stinks! SO, i'd suggest swichi9ng to blocks and using friut as a treat.

  8. with a knife and fork (:
