  1. If you are living at home for free, you should get nothing. It is called helping out. If you expect to be paid then you should be paying for food, and room and use of the common areas in the house, just like a big boy.

  2. Totally I think it should be around $30-40 bucks a month maybe if you did each chore for 75c then I think your parents can reason with that!! :)

    Peace v

  3. I think you should be paid 10 dollars an hour if this is in your own home. And 20 if it's for someone else.

  4. I say 30 dollars a week, you're doing a lot of the upkeep of the house and pets.

  5. Times have changed-- when  grew up and our kids- you all did chores because it was showing your appreciation for being part of the family and being loved along with the fact that you learned how to do laundry and cook and clean and function  in life after you grew up. Now days parents seem to feel they have to pay the kids for being born so the only thing they learn is -what's in it for me- . My parents provided everything we needed. If we had the chance we did baby sitting or shoveled snow or cut an older persons grass for extra money, so we could learn to save money for something special- it also showed us patience and how to save and then how to take care of our belongings because we had to work hard to get them and not just have them handed to us.

It also showed us just how hard our family worked ( mom) and Dad) to take care of us , that's how they showed love to us.So thats why we did our share  for the family- to show our love  and appreciation in return.

  6. 25$

    a week.

  7. Daily... nothing.. u need to do your fair share!

Mow the lawn maybe 5 pounds.... everything else seems normal.. depends if your doing it for someone and they have offered to give you money.. if thats the case then maybe 30 pounds a week...

if its just that you think u should be paid for helping around the house then i'd say at most 10 pounds...

  8. NOt a penny. You live in that house too you know. Who pays your parents to cart you off to athletic activities. friends houses, fun trips just because they love you, buying the groceries, cooking the meals, listening to whining about having to do chores, homework help, buying your clothing, your shoes, that backpack you like so much, your school supplies, maybe your computer, IPOD, cell phone, stereo, CD's, video games + gaming system,  videos and all of those extra things that so many kids have these days? I don't pay my kids anything as good grades and chores are expected in payment for free room and board.

  9. Go to youtube and type in "No charge" listen to the song and then think about your question.

Think of your poor mother while listening to it
