I work for a vendor management company and I was recently promoted from Coordinator to Manager. How much should my increase be?

  1. There is very rarely a set amount that a raise should be.  It will depend on how much more responsibility you have been given, what the managerial pay range at that company is, etc.  I have seen people get promoted and get no raise while other get large raises.  It is up to you to decide whether the additional pay compensates you adequately for the additional work, hours and responsibility.


  2. I do not know where do you live/work so I cannot give you a number or link a website.

    However, you should talk to your friends who work or know other people with similar position. Preferably, you want to find someone not in your company, because asking how much someone earns is a little bit tricky and uncomfortable.

    If you do ask someone about their income, try to ask them to give them a range rather than exact salary and ask them about their gross income, not including benefits ... no one would want to give detailed information about how much they really make even if they are good friends
