How much should I open the bromine floater in my small hot tub?

I have a small 2-3 seater , roughly 700 gallons hot tub that I just put in and filled. All my chemicals tested okay except the chlorine. I am going to fill up the bromine floater and put it in the hot tub but how much do I open it? How long will it take to chlorinate the hot tub so we can go in?

Start out with the lowest setting and then check it with a tester every couple hours to see the change increase or decrease it slightly if not the correct levels.  Be sure to drain it at least once or twice a month to clean and refresh the water.  You can get away with just draining half way down if its not to dirty.  Good Luck!
