  1. I agree with the top answer

But beware of e-bay some will try to to s***w you and even change makers plates and Make sure you can return it if it don'est work out or is a phony or not fit your horse

I would say about 400.00 for a nice used Crosby and for a newer one 800.00 My Student found a Passao for 900 which was a deal it was perfect

Please don't buy a saddle made in INDIA

    OR ARGENTINA

  2. Crosbys are really good.  And so are Pessoas.  Collegiate makes a cheaper saddle that's still well built and really nice.  How much you spend really depends on you and how much you're willing to spend.  I bought a saddle in December.  It was used and had a hole in the pommel so I got a saddle that would have been about $1500 for only $300.  Personally, I'd get a used saddle.  First of all, you don't have to break it in so it will be more comfortable to start with.  Second, it's cheaper and they'll still be really nice and have a lot of life left in them.  And if you're patient you'll come across a great deal like I did.  Check e-bay as well as horse sites like equine.com and dream horse.
