I'll leave Friday night and she'll stop in about 3-4 times a day until I return on Monday afternoon.

  1. If it's a close friend, just bring her back something from your trip, or put together a thank you basket of wine and cheese (or flowers...etc) or some other thank you gift.

If you feel more comfortable paying her, I would say that $10 per day is a fair price.  That's what I pay my dog sitters, and even though that sounds like a lot it's less than a boarding kennel.

  2. i would pay her 10 to 20$.

  3. I woul say like 30$ depends on how your dog behaved and how much she thinks you should give her.

  4. 20$ would be best...thats what i would do...

  5. AWE! A real friend would watch him for free! But in all honesty, I would find out what local boarding kennels make and offer almost the same. To really help out a friend, you could offer her more because the dog would be getting more one on one attention.

  6. $20-$30 dollars is a good rate.

  7. $7 an hour is the minimum wage

  8. I would charge the same as any kennel. Most basic kennels charge about $20 a day unless your pet has any health issues. A fancy place may charge $50 a days but that includes fancy grooming and foods ect. If the person your leaving you dog too is responsible and fair then the $20 or so a day should be good enough.

  9. It should be a pleasure for your friend to do this for you, you shouldn't have to pay. Get her a nice present instead - a book she'd like, or a cd perhaps?

  10. Well if she/he is your friend they wouldn't have asked for money.  If it's you just be generous and offering to pay I'd probably go for about $10-$20 a day... or a really nice night out on the town - your treat!
