How much should I pump an air mattress?

I'm not sure when to stop, how do you know when something inflatable has had enough?

It just depends on how soft or firm u want the matrrss.

when it is nice and firm and kinda hard. but careful dont OVER inflate or it will POP.

Air mattresses are made to lay on. When properly inflated, they should not depress more than about 1" when you lay on it. You can tell when you are over inflating it if the middle gets too high above the seams.
