How much should I run a day to get 13 minutes in two miles?

I need to run 2 miles in 13 minutes to make JV soccer. Summer just started and I want to know how much I should run each day. Also, does running with a hat on make me go slower?

Well you firs have to do long runs to make the two mile run look easy run 5 miles a day and then 4 then 3  and wen you hit 2 mile run to make it easier run two laps then sprint one run one than sprint one and then jog and then sprint till you get to the last lap and wen its last lap you give all your energy and sprint! this exercise will make you lose a lot of body fat and make your 2 mile run look easy! then when you run it for time you should keep the same paste until the lust 200 meters wen you have left 200 meters you sprint as fast as you can!

    This exercise helped me I had to run two miles for my soccer team in 14 min. but I made it in 10 min 40 sec and I am only 15 That was my new record!!! I run everyday you should too just change your running a bit don't do the same run over and over do some hills, sprints, long jogs, run 100 meters sprint 100 run 100meters and repeat it 7 times!  

    Take one day of  a week! and drink a lot of water at least 8 glasses per day! good luck! You can do it!

    and also running with a hat will slow you down a bit because of extra weight but its better to run with it if it is really sunny.

First of all, running with a hat on probably isn't going to make you slower.  Of course, if it's not a nice breathable hat, you may cause your head to sweat a lot more, which will make your body work harder to shed heat instead of working hard to run.  Get a nice runner's hat and you'll be good.

    To build up distance and speed you have to train for both.  Running a 6:30 mile is certainly not "novice" speed so I'd suggest maybe you follow a structured training plan that is normally suited for 5K racing.  The master has always been Hal Higdon:

  3. well you should firt take it easy so your stomach wont get a side ache then id say 1 hour of running so youll make the teem
