  1. There is one on gunbroker.com very nice condition with a 6" barrel , the first bid on it is $400.00 Dollars.* I bought a Model 66 with 4" barrel, target trigger and hammer with eight (8*) boxes of Winchester factory ammo for $400.00 Dollars in like new condition. I would ask $550.00 for yours.* You can always come down , but you can't go up.* Good used guns are bringing premium prices, especially S&W, Colt, Browning.* I think the one I bought was under-priced. A gun rug and 6 boxes of 357 Magnum, and 2 boxes of 38's came with the S&W Model 66 I bought.* I live in Pa. also.* email me if you want.* My Model 66 is stainless.*

  2. I won't try to talk you out of it but know that this is probably the worst time to do so; we might have a democrat in office next year (one that wants "change")

go on the provided web site and do a comparison.

  3. Go to your local library and ask for a copy of a book entitled "The Blue Book of Gun Values" by S.P. Fjestad.  Read the part about how to evaluate the condition of your gun.  You will need to know how to establish its true condition.  Then look up the listing for your gun, go to the column for its condition and it will give you the fair retail market value for your gun.  That is the price that a gun dealer would sell it for.  Of course, you cannot get the same price for it that a dealer would but it is where you want to stat your bargaining knowing that you will actually sell it for somewhere between the wholesale value and the retail value.

  4. They are worth between $300 and $1800 depending on production date, whether they are  blued or nickel finished.

  5. Check gunbroker.com and see what other ones are going for.

  6. I wouldn't sell a gun especially right now I would accumulate all I can because if obama gets elected (God Forbid) guns might become hard to get

  7. dealers will pay less on a wholesale basis...on a trade it's worth $300 bucks or so...depending on what the dealer has in the other gun.

But you dont want to sell it................

In my area ..run of the mill... Model 28's will bring $350-500 as yours is described.

Premiums may add value... is it a police property marked unit?

The ammo will bring a few bucks in a private purchase and the holster is worth about $5-10 bucks used.
