Question:

How much should a 5'5 14 year old weigh?

I'm 14 and 5'5 I weight 162, I AM aware that that's almost considered obese, but I'm planning on excersising and eating healthier to lose weight.

So how much should I weigh? In your opinion :]

Or atleast what size should I be? EX: Pant/Shirt Size

  1. A lot goes into that- mucsle mass, bone size, ect. I would see a doctor or nutrisionist and see what they think- Also sizes are really complicated chest size and hip size and butt size and all that go into that you could only be 100 lbs and wear a size 6 ( that might be a slight strech) :P

  2. im 14 and 5'5 too.  I weigh like 140 and i dont feel like thats a perfect weight for me, but I'm not ashamed of it.  I have really large b*****s (I'm a 36D) and I have an ok sized back side.  sure i could lose a few pounds on my legs and stomach, but i think im fine.  ive had a boyfriend for a year, and he likes my thickness. he is really inshape..dont worry about your weight. yes you could lose a few pounds, but lots of guys like thick, curvy women. these girls on here are insane. their saying that its NORMAL to be a size 0-2. lots of guys DON'T like that at all. they like healthy looking girls. drop a few pounds. i know the healthy weight on a bmi scale is 114-144 but i honestly think 5'5 girls should weigh between 125-140. get yourself into a healthy eating habit and work out a little more, and you will be where you want to be.  in shirts i would think a medium is good. in pants you should be a size 4-6.. maybe an 8.

    also remember.. your weight is ONLY a number. some people could be 150 pounds and you would never be able to notice it.. i know that sounds crazy but its true!! also, think of all the healthy looking celebrities.. JLO, Kim Kardashian, Jessica Biel.. they are so much more attractive then skinny models, wouldnt you agree?  lol.. hope i helped. byeee hun!

    but im extrmemly muscular

    i weigh 166 now, wanna drop 8 lbs-then doc said id be totally toned and fit...

    so t depends it your body is big boned, musuclar, naturaly skinny....

  5. well it depends on your body type, when I was 14 I was 5'5 and my wieght constantly fluctuated from 130-135, and I never had a flat tummy, but was never considered overweight. I was about a size 5.

    You should worry more about starting to feel healthy, and once you get to that point, stop, because you'll already feel good about yourself.

  6. myabe like 110-120  i dk i'm 5"6 and i weigh like 105 but i'm just naturaly skinny

  7. im 14, 5'3 and 100 pounds, but ive heard im TOO thin...i wear a zero, or a double zero, and a small.but if you wanted to weigh something a little healthier looking, my friend is 5'6 and weighs 125. she still looks thin but has some healthy weight on her so she doesnt look anorexic. hope i helped =]
