How much should a child psychologist charge per hour?

i heard it's around $150, but is 165 or 185 a rip off?

Many psychologists charge over $350/hour.  The prices you list are all reasonable and average.  If you are concerned about fees, you can check with your local public mental health clinic or you can ask the psychologist if they have a sliding fee scale (many do).  Also, many psychologists do some pro-bono (i.e. free) work.

They vary so greatly. If money is a problem, call your local Mental Health Department.  They can probably direct you to either a free or pay as you can afford service. If you think your child needs help, don't delay getting it.
