My friend is going to watch my dog (small terrier mix). I asked for a price and was told she would do it for free, however I want to pay her something. Here is a short history on my dog; he takes one Lipiderm table with his wet food in the morning and every other day he needs to be treated with leave on conditioner. Thanks to all that can help!

  1. Well it sounds like you dog needs extra attention, so I would differently give her something for her troubles.  She did offered to do it for free, but it would only be right to give her something.  Maybe you can bring her back something from were ever you are going. Like a souvenir or a small item for the area you are visitingg.. (if you are going out of town).  Or offer to take her out for dinner or drinks.. or something.. It's sounds like you have a great friend, so you would like to give her a token ofappreciationn.

  2. I have a kennel, cats, horses, and inside pets.  I pay 30/day.   The animals are fed twice a day.  Meds given if needed. Stalls and pens cleaned.  If your friend is willing to take care of your pet with no pay,

then you do not need to pay her.  Make sure this person really is a friend and will not neglect the needs of your pet.  Make sure the pet is also comfortable with your friend as this is important.  Expose the dog to your friend to make sure both are not afraid of each other and that the person really is an "animal person".  If they are not suited for each other, the pet may not take the meds, or could bite, or just not eat due to separation and that the pet does not like the person.

    Just food for thought.

  3. HI!!!

Sounds like you have a very nice friend :)

If she said she would do it for free THEN I think you should take her to dinner when you get back.

At dinner, give her a "THANK YOU" card with a gift certificate for $25-$50 dollars.

It's very comforting to know that your pooch will be in good hands when you are away.

PLUS it gives you two a "reason" to get together and grab some dinner!!

  4. I'm a profession pet care company owner.

    FETCH PET CARE               fetchpetcare.com

We charge 60.00 dollares a day for full care with drug administration.

  5. I would give her $60-$80

  6. i think maybe a 100 bucks is more than enough....

  7. No need to pay, shes offering it for free. So dont pay her

  8. Instead of money how about a gift certificate to her favorite store?  Say for $50

  9. like $20 a week i dont have prove but i don it all the time

  10. i,ll say 100 bucks ?   150 would do a great deal of a good job such as keeping the dog clean and  feed good kind of food and walk the dog outside few time a day !

  11. well its usually 30 bux a night so i would charge 20 dollars a night.
