  1. I don't know what the going rate is in Ontario, but I feel that $3.50 an hour is a sufficient amount for a teen to babysit. That's far less than what a parent(s) would pay a commercial establishment, or an adult sitter.

  2. Go for at least $6 per hour. If they get picky say "How much is your childs safety worth sir?"

  3. 10 if your lucky

  4. $8.00-$10.00 per hour per child

  5. I don;t know whathe going rate is in Canada but in Texas it can be as little as 3 dollars per hour.

THE BEST way to get TOP RATE is too..

    1. not talk on the phone the whole time with your freinds

    2. not have freinds over to thier house

    3. spend your time with the kid..Then when the kid tell his PARENTS " i like her she taught me to ....(blank) like play tic tac toe or something fun.

then you'll get more call backs and referalls.

TOP PAY = TOP EFFORT= happy kids

I would say TOP PAY would be under $ 10 US Dollars an hour and over $6 and hour.

In US we have a minimum wage that has to be payed (BY BUSINESS) so if you can approach or better that pay your doing good.

So if you can get around 5 dollars an hour your doing good.
