  1. my boyfriend is a contractor and he charges 20 an hour plus supplies

  2. As a General Contractor I would estimate if it is a welded frame or a knock down frame about 1 hour just to set the frame. Closer add 1 hour, Panic bar about 45 minutes, k**b hardware 45 minutes, weatherstrip 1 hour.

A fair price for labor would be $150 - $200. Add if there is trim to put on up to the metal frame, add if the frame must be grouted in.

We always order these doors with the hardware already installed as much as possible. If you find the right door supplier, they can do this for you.

Don't forget to paint this door and frame-it is just primed from the factory. Hire someone who is a commercial carpenter because this door and hardware is probably costing you $900-$1,000 if not more.

  3. Tottaly depends on where you live, back woods $25/hour, NY, NY $125/hour

  4. Riki I would think it will cost about $300.00 to get you door installed.

    Good Luck
